Press Release

Date: June 18, 2018
Location: Wadsworth, OH

Today, U.S. candidate Jim Renacci participated in a small business roundtable with local business leaders at Ashland University's Dauch College of Business and Economics. He had the opportunity to discuss his experience as an entrepreneur as well as give attendees an update on the Senate race.

"I want to thank the business community in Ashland for joining me today. As a small business owner myself, I understand firsthand that government regulations can help or hinder job growth. That's why I'm running for the U.S. Senate -- so I can fight for pro-growth policies that make Ohio first and help to restore the opportunity for Ohioans to achieve the American Dream." -- U.S. Senate candidate, Jim Renacci

Jim Renacci has been fighting to protect small businesses for years. He was endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in 2014 and 2016, and was also a recipient of the United States Chamber of Commerce "Spirit of Enterprise Award" in 2011. According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), there are more than 900,000 small businesses in Ohio which account for approximately 46% of the workforce in Ohio.
